JAcKD UP began as an idea of unification through music by Jane Augusta Kardotzke. Upon meeting her business partner, Jennifer Clancy Kash, the two nailed down how to execute the vision. After months of nurturing the DIY music scene in Athens, a new partner with technical/production skills, Spencer White, joined the team. With our shared skills and experiences, we were able to identify problems for those wishing to enter the professional music scene. JacKD UP’s solution? A Social Media Site that identifies and connects talented artists (i.e., sound engineers, producers, writers, instrumentalist, etc.) with other artists of musical professionalism thus, bypassing the outdated record label scene.
