SoLoCo is an app that quickly matches and connects solo travelers with local people, who work as our local tour guides, to have authentic (travelers get to experience the true lifestyles of residents), personal, and customizable trips at an affordable price. Locals who are passionate and knowledgeable about their neighborhood will be offered part-time employment and trained to become tour guides. Travelers are surveyed about their preferences and locals are surveyed about their abilities to offer tour services to create their personal profiles. Before a trip to a destination, the app matches a traveler with a local, they will communicate and the local will plan the trip based on the traveler’s preferences. Local businesses are also greatly promoted in these trips.
