A rides sharing program and app built up at the College of Wooster, where students have difficulties of getting outside of campus for groceries, airport shuttles and excursions due to limited transportation options like local shuttles and taxi. Students who own cars will drive students who need rides to commute around the town, and Woo Ride will be the medium to build up the connection among students. We are striving to build up the connection between students and local businesses. To motivate the use of the app, we are also planning to have local restaurants to partner with us, and students who participate in the program would get discount from it.
